Why browser tests are useful — and where they stop
BenchRush reads the input events your browser exposes. That makes it useful for checking whether keys, buttons and wheel events arrive at all, and for building repeatable personal baselines. It does not directly read your mouse firmware, switch electronics or end-to-end display latency.
Polling-rate results are therefore shown as a browser event-rate estimate, not laboratory-grade USB polling telemetry. Reaction scores include your device, display, browser and input path as well as you.
